PMA has been commissioned to conduct a feasibility study to set up NHS weight management services for children across the East of England region. The study will consider a number of promising national developments exploring new delivery models of obesity in primary care and in the community and will include some smaller scale programmes rolled out locally. PMA has also been asked to explore the establishment of weight management services using the NHS smoking cessation model where help and support are offered depending on stages of readiness to change.
